Respecting and honoring all communities and cultures is important to me. I am bilingual, bicultural, and an ally to the LGBTQ+ community.
I believe that consenting adults should have the freedom to live and love as they choose.

I grew up in a traditional home where I developed an appreciation for the ceremonies and rituals of Mexican-Catholicism. Although I am no longer a practicing Catholic, my spirituality continues to be influenced by some of those cherished traditions.
As an educator, museum docent, and researcher, I enjoy engaging diverse audiences to create joyful and memorable shared experiences.
